Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-TN, and House Speaker Dennis Hastert, R-IL, proved that greed and corruption are alive and well in the United States Congress. These two Drug company wet dreams did a little behind closed doors, dark of night job and slipped, into a defense bill, a real windfall for the big pharma companies.
Known as the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (PREPA), it not only gives the drug companies immunity from lawsuits brought on by their dirty vaccines but it also lets them keep using a mercury based preservative, thimerosal, in them. Using thimerosal saves the drug companies 4 bucks per vaccination. Bush signed the bill into law.
A recent study published in the spring 2006 volume of the peer-reviewed Journal
of American Physicians and Surgeons shows that the rate of
neurodevelopmental
disorders in children has decreased following the
removal
of thimerosal from
most American childhood vaccines. However,
only about
one-third of the 11
million children vaccinated for influenza
this year will
receive mercury-free
vaccines.

Senator Tom Harkin, D-IA and 19 others sent a letter to Frist and Hastert, telling them what a low-life, scumbag, piece of crap, little stunt they pulled and called for it's repeal. Don't hold your breath.

I did not mean that Conservatives are generally stupid; I meant, that stupid persons are generally Conservative. I believe that to be so obvious and undeniable a fact that I hardly think any hon. Gentleman will question it.
