15 Dems sell out the people.

With the passage of H R 4297, Tax Relief Extension Reconciliation Act, millionaire Hummer owners can probably keep them in gas another year.

While it's not surprising that this "welfare for the rich program" bill passed, what is surprising, well, actually disgusting, is that 15 Democrats voted for it.

At this time I can only come up with nine of those Democrats, but I'll update.

John Barrow, Melissa Bean, Dan Boren, Ed Case, Bud Cramer, Henry Cuellar, Lincoln Davis, Harold Ford, Bart Gordon

And what did these fine individuals vote for?

Middle-income households would receive an average tax cut of $20 from the
agreement, according to the joint Urban Institute-Brookings Institution Tax
Policy Center, while 0.02 percent of households with incomes over $1 million
would receive average tax cuts of $42,000.

If they want to be Republicans, great. I hope someday they'll find the guts to join. The sooner the better.

UPDATE: Here's the names of all 15 of these sorry Democrats.

John Barrow, Melissa Bean, Dan Boren, Ed Case, Bud Cramer, Henry Cuellar, Lincoln Davis, Harold Ford, Bart Gordon, Jim Marshall, Jim Matheson, Mike McIntyre, Charles Melancon, Collin Peterson, John Salazar

I did not mean that Conservatives are generally stupid; I meant, that stupid persons are generally Conservative. I believe that to be so obvious and undeniable a fact that I hardly think any hon. Gentleman will question it.
